KNITWEAR & CARDIGANS
Usually a staple item during the winter months, cardigans can be a reliable item in your wardrobe all year round. The real appeal lies in their versatility, allowing you to create a prim and proper outfit or be simply thrown on top for a more casual look.
Our latest range is constantly updated and this season focuses on long, loose lengths as well as solid, chunky knits. The later can quickly add texture to an otherwise basic outfit whilst long cardigans can work with heels, trainers and ankle boots - giving you endless options to work with. Our shorter, more fitted cardigans can be worn on their own with a fitted skirt or over the top of a well fitting floral dress for a cuter, more modern look. With this option, a piece which finishes just past the hip seems to be the best fit for most.
How to wear a long cardigan
Although perfect for colder days, for the shorter of person long length cardigans can be fairly intimidating. Putting this together with some high heels and skinny jeans can help elongate your figure and counteract the effects of the longer cardigan. Even combining with a crop top and some shorts for a warmer day can allow for a cozy, laidback look. Many people opt to have a chunked cardigan hanging off one shoulder with a long statement necklace to further the boho-chic feel.
Layering your cardigan over a striped or a lighter coloured shirt, whilst cuffing the sleeves over the sleeves of the knit can give a preppy and smart feel for work. At the same time a more vintage and chic approach can be achieved with a simple dress, a thin belt and a hat.
Popular this season is the monochromatic colour scheme, blending together many items of the same shades of colour. A shorter cardigan with a pair of flared jeans and some mustard-coloured shoes can finish off a 70s-styled outfit, which is very on trend at the moment.
